Vijaykumar Shivpuje is an Entrepreneur and Patent expert with varied interests in Innovation, Research & Development, Management, Law and Skills development.

Currently serving as the Co-founder and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) for FlexiTutr, an online education platform for professional education, he is responsible for operations, legal compliance, and business development for FlexiTutr.

M. Pharm in pharmaceutics by qualification, Vijay also did his law (LLB) later. He has served with leading pharmaceutical organizations like Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Glenmark and Wockhardt in the department of Intellectual Property Rights in a career spanning over 12 years. His last assignment was with Micro Labs Limited as Assistant General Manager, IPR.

He is a registered patent agent with the Indian Patent Office and associated with various academic institutions and industry associations in various capacities. He also has a mobile application named, “VPATAPP” for the patent world which is available free of cost on Android and iOS.


Vijay is a book reviewer for Oxford University Press’ Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice.
