Yes it is true….! An online education
platform with an objective to provide a platform to students and faculties to
explore new opportunities in the area of online education in the field of life
sciences.
Pharmacy profession came in to existence 4000
years ago when the population living in northern era had separate group of
people to compound and dispense medicine and separate people to diagnose and treat
diseases. Since then pharmacist is gaining importance in the society. In case
of our profession pharmacists are dynamic, patient-oriented professional
committed to full filling the health care need of their patient. Through the
academics to industry now a days everything is become easier by one word that
is “ONLINE”. Weather it is any kind of
services or education or industrial knowledge, it’s simpler via online
applications.
Our education system is geared towards
teaching and testing knowledge at every level. The changes are regularly seen
in terms of technology. Computers, the Internet, and advanced electronic
devices are becoming essential in everyday life and have changed the way
information is gathered. How this new technology is utilized in the curriculum
and managed by teachers will have an important role to play in widening the
resource and knowledge base for all students. I believe that if you teach a man
a skill, you enable him for a lifetime.

learning strengths lie in student empowerment, flexibility, accommodation,
customization, collaboration, and creation. Students are empowered through
online learning in a number of ways. They are free to access materials whenever
and wherever they want, using a system they are comfortable with. This
flexibility allows students to learn in a way in which they are successful.
They are empowered to make choices on how to explore content, which is accommodating
to different learning styles. For instance, a learner can watch a video lecture
if they prefer visual learning, listen to the same lecture while they are
driving or exercising if they prefer audio, or even read the transcript if text
learning is their preference.
In 2020, higher education will not be much
different from the way it is today. While people will be accessing more
resources in classrooms through the use of large screens, teleconferencing, and
personal wireless smart devices, most universities will mostly require
in-person, on-campus attendance of students most of the time at courses
featuring a lot of traditional lectures.
The main reasons behind the gap between industry
and academia is the both Academics and Industrialists have a different mindset,
therefore both are living in two different worlds. Both Academics and
Industrialists are pursing different goals entirely. The Academic is striving
for recognition from his or her peers. The Industrialist is striving to
survive. Industry thinks in terms of short range goals whereas the Academic has
a long range perspective. Industry prefers proven solutions with a low risk,
whereas Academia is interested in creating new solutions with a high innovation
rate. Industry seeks the minimum solution to minimize their risk, whereas
Academia strives for a maximum solution to maximize their recognition. Industry
is mainly concerned with costs. Academia could care less about costs, it is mainly
interested in the benefits and prestige.
To work out on building the gap between
academia and industry we need to work on the reasons why it’s all happening.
The gap is due to lack of conversations between industry and academia, for
bridging the gap we need to incorporate the online education system which will
interlink between industry and academia. There are various online tutorial
programs for schools and colleges which are with interactive courses are
helpful for knowing the various companies profile and needful information
regarding particular technology are available.
Online education system consist of all types
of subject present in the universe mathematics, science, art, fine art,
economics, commerce, histories, social studies, technical education etc. there
are many websites are available through which 1 can select the most appropriate
course and go through it to develop our skills for particular position in the
industry. Online education provides Coursera, Khan Academy, Academic Earth,
Edx, Alison, Stanford Online, Open Yale Courses, Code academy etc. and more
websites, in which various universities are involved which are directly inter
connected to the industries which demand for the better courses for industries
welfare. There are various specialization courses like data science, applied mechanics,
programing for such courses we can enroll easily and also get and e certificate
for same which will look like shining star in our resume.
Now a day’s online education type is the most
versatile type of delivering the lectures as well as for gaining the knowledge
from different field. Every industry is with their web pages considering the
career, objective, goal, academia, responsibilities, courses, training which
makes everything simpler to learn everything about the company.
Online education is also having second new
name that is “distance learning”. Open to study because of this phenomenon it
is easily well accredited by all users and helpful for cracking interviews too.
Academia and industries are truly interconnecting by online education. Now a
days all the selection of candidates is also taking place directly through
video calling so it is helpful and save the time of both industry as well as
the person.
Thus online education system is milestone in
every growing filed to solve each and every kind of problem at any stages. Now
everything is turning in to online in daily life since from our aadhar card to
telephonic bill and in professional way from our education to job its changing
drastically. So ones again I would like to say than yes it is true that online
education system is a platform for bridging the gap between industry and
academia.
