Cops to probe 'fraud' by pharmacy college in Nashik

As per the report, Snehal Gadekar (25) filed a complaint against Jagdamba Educational Institute, Yeola, on May 7, alleging that institute had forged her signs, showing her as an employee . The girl was a student at the College of from 2008 to 2012. After that, she was studying in a pharmacy college in Nashik for her MPharm when the institute allegedly projected her as an employee.
 
When the girl's brother, Sachin, who was a faculty at the SNDB Pharmacy College, discovered that her name was shown as an employee, along with her forged signatures, they tried to sort the matter with the institute. Later, the brother-sister duo approached the Yeola police with the documents to lodge a complaint against the institute.
 
Refuting all the charges, principal Nitin Jain said, "Snehal was a visiting faculty while she was doing her M Pharm. The institution gave money to her brother for higher education. Later, we recovered the amount in instalments from his salary. Her brother was blackmailing us because we found that he used to extract money from students under the pretext of making them pass."
